what time is it???

i hope you used your best high school musical voice when reading the title! since we missed out on going to the drive-in, we had our own movie night at home. much needed items: jammies, blankets, cozy couch, and movie treats!

we watched the first high school musical together; singing along at times. connor was very good at this! he held his invisible microphone, stood on the couch, and sang along--dancing during the group scenes. too cute! we had a fun night, being silly and laughing. :)

chocolate chip muffins and hannah montana

what better way to start a saturday morning?!?! kaleigh, connor, and i made chocolate chip muffins for breakfast. yes, we took a break from the usual pancakes! we all had a little computer time before showering. while getting dressed we had a little dance party with some hannah montana music blaring on the stereo. even connor got into the action, jumping up and down with a huge smile on his face. now it's off to shop! woohoo!

mama needs a new pair of shoes!

or two!! it feels so good to buy shoes! i was out looking for some much needed clothes when i came across these two cute numbers. they are totally different than what i usually get but i think they are fun and sassy!! woohoo! i can't wait to wear them. my freshly pedicured toes will look adorable peeking out from the ends. :)

swim team

kaleigh had time trials for her swim team yesterday. she had to swim a lap of each stroke and get timed doing it. this was to get her ready for all the swim meets to come this summer! she did really well and actually had fun swimming. pop-pop took pictures, mimi cheered her on, and val videotaped it for me. i kept connor with me since it was too hot for him to hang out at the pool for 4 hours.

this is how we'll keep busy this summer. i can't wait to see how much kaleigh will improve by the end of summer!
